Client

The building is a studio for an artist. The workspace has good even daylight, and provides selective views into a garden, and across a marsh towards the Norfolk coast. There is also a covered space for working on larger sculptural pieces. The building is designed to a very high thermal standard, and requires virtually no additional heat input. The materials are carefully chosen, with wherever possible locally sourced timber. The whole building, including structure, wall and roof cladding are made from timber.
