An interactive window installation for Home Store in Beak Street, Soho. The window has a crowd of interactive characters. The movements of the crowd are responsive to movements of people and traffic passing the window. They make small, twitchy gestures and sometimes full rotations in unison. The crowd moves in sequence or in groups, depending on how many people are outside, and what they are doing. A musical composition, also activated by external movement, is spontaneously generated by a computer and broadcast back for the amusement of passers-by.
